1. Minimum ageThe minimum age for enrollment in general courses is 17 years old and 14 years old for the Summer Course for Young Students.2. ResponsibilityEscuela Internacional does not assume responsibility for acts outside of its control (i.e. natural disasters) nor the actions of the students outside of the study centers.3. Course levels and scheduleOn the first day of the course students take a placement exam to enter in the appropriate level for each student's proficiency and needs. At each E.I. Center there are at least 3 different levels. The majority of the courses are held in the morning, however in the summer/high season there are some courses held in the afternoon.4. All fees for the extended period must be paid before beginning classes in the new period.5. AccommodationsReservations are made per person on a weekly basis. You may reserve your room from the Sunday before you start classes until the Saturday after you complete the course. For your convenience, it is possible to request additional days pending availability. The price for accommodations in a host family includes laundry service (except in Cuernavaca and Playa del Carmen), bed linens and the number of meals requested. Students who will live in an apartment can pick up the keys at the place and time indicated on the Registration Confirmation. The price of apartments is per person and the cost of utilities for student apartments is not included in the price. Students living in an apartment must bring their own bed linens and towels. Students are responsible for any broken or damaged objects due to poor usage.6. This person will assist them in arriving to their accommodations. Those students who do not request the transfer service may go directly to the address indicated on the Registration Confirmation.7. Medical Insurance and VisasSince medical and accident insurance are not included in the cost of the program, we advise those students interested in purchasing medical insurance through E.I. to check the appropriate box on the enrollment form. Those students from countries that need a visa to enter Spain or Latin America should check the appropriate box on the enrollment form so that the school can send a Certificate of Enrollment once registration has been completed.8. Cancellations and shortened programsThe Central Office of Escuela Internacional must be notified in writing of all cancellations. The enrollment fee is non-refundable. If E.I. receives notice of a cancellation before the course begins, the student will be refunded all pre-paid course and accommodation fees, except the enrollment fees. Students may request a change of level from the Director of Studies, which will be admitted when it serves to improve the program for the student. For the schools in Latin America, please request more details from the Central Office.10.
