There is a maximum of 10 international students in each class. The first day of the course you will take a placement test in order to place you in the course and level that best fits your needs and abilities. Throughout your time with us, we ensure that your professors will closely monitor your progress. 4. Duration of lessons and the course levels

In Spain and Mexico the group Spanish lessons are 50 minutes long, 45 or 55 in Costa Rica. Escuela Internacional levels are adapted to the new Common European Union Framework for Languages that establishes 3 levels of Elementary, Intermediate and Advanced.

5. Flexible Calendar for Spanish course programs

Courses at Escuela Internacional Spanish schools start every week, however, we recommend that beginners start on one of our beginner starting dates. You may enroll for a period from 1 to 34 weeks in courses with 15 to 30 lessons a week.

8. Preparation for Official Exams

E.I. prepares students for the two main Spanish exams:
1. ‘Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera’ (DELE), the only official language certificate offered by the Spanish government for international students.
2. The ‘Examen de Español Comercial’, a business language certificate offered by the chamber of commerce.

9. Unique ‘Intercambio’ Program in Spain

Our extra-curricular program is the perfect complement to your Spanish language course. The University of Alcalá de Henares has inspected the E.I. Spanish language schools in Spain: Madrid-Alcalá de Henares, Malaga and Salamanca. All 3 schools have once again received the CEELE certification thanks to the very good results received in the assessment of our teaching process.

12. E.I. Guarantee

 If after successfully completing the Advanced (C3) Level of the school’s program and upon returning to your own country your Spanish is of an insufficient level for academic or employment purposes you can return to E.I. and study for free.

13. University Credit, Bildungsurlaub, CSN

University Credit - Many North American university students that study Spanish at our language schools are interested in receiving credits at their university for attending a Spanish course abroad. For this reason we have arranged several different methods for students to use in order to receive university credit for one of our courses.

Bildungsurlaub - Escuela Internacional Spanish courses in Spain are recognized under the Bildungsurlaub program.

CSN - Scholarship or grant money for Swedish students which requires a minimum of 13 weeks of study. E.I. courses qualify for soliciting this assistance.
