Medical Insurance
We hope your stay with Escuela Internacional is healthy and accident free. But
if medical care should be necessary it’s best to consider a medical insurance
option before arrival.
We recommend that all students purchase international medical coverage in their
home country before departing. Most policies work in the following manner. You
pay cash for medical services rendered while abroad. You then take the receipts,
etc. home with you and present them to your medical insurance company. Depending
on the policy that you have, you would be reimbursed all, or a percentage of,
the services you paid. This refund process normally takes time. Ask your own
medical insurance company for details before departure.
After arrival students will receive information about specific medical centers
and doctors in the area.
