Playa del Carmen - Arrival
If you decide to study in Playa del Carmen you can ask for
the transfer service from the airport. The school will arrange the transport
service from Cancun Airport to your host family. They will meet you at the
Cancun Airport and take you by car to their home in Playa del Carmen. This is an
optional service with a cost of $60 per person.
If you prefer, you can make your own way to Playa del Carmen
from the Cancun Airport. There are daily buses and private taxis that leave from
the airport, and you can also rent a car at the airport.
When you arrive in Playa del Carmen, you can take a taxi to
your apartment or residence. It is advisable to fix a price with the taxi driver
before getting in. The approximate price for the taxi is between 20 and 35
pesos. In Playa del Carmen it is not necessary to tip the taxi drivers.
