This Spanish language school was started in 1975 and is a founding member of AIPEC (Asociación de Institutos para la Enseñanza del Español en Cuernavaca, A.C.), an association of language schools in Cuernavaca that seeks to monitor and maintain the quality services of all language schools within the city. The Spanish school is located in a tranquil residential area of Cuernavaca, 30 minutes walking distance (10 minutes by city bus) from the historical center of the city. Within the school there are 6 indoor classrooms and 5 outdoor classrooms in the garden where Spanish courses are held. In addition there is an outdoor cafeteria, an administrative office with reception area, a library, a conference room, a video room, a public telephone, and a functional kitchen. Each class has an average of 3 students with a maximum of 5. The student population during the winter months is 30-50, while during the summer months there may be 50-70 students at the same time. In Cuernavaca, you can choose from 4 different course options to study Spanish abroad. Out of class enjoy the warm and friendly schools Mexico atmosphere while you chat with new friends and peers in the school’s outdoor garden. Or take advantage of the schools private basketball court for a game of basketball with the other students at the school. The language school organizes your accommodation with select Mexican host families who live within 10 minutes walking distance from the Center. Students usually opt to travel to and from the school on foot, as the short distance makes for a pleasant walk. If you prefer Cuernavaca does have city bus transportation. The bus can also be taken for traveling to other parts of the city from the school or your accommodation.
