The E.I. Spanish language school is located in the heart of Alcalá de Henares on Calle Talamanca very near the Plaza de Cervantes and the historic center of the city. It is housed on the second floor of a modern building fully equipped for comfortable study in high quality surroundings. The center has 8 classrooms with air conditioning and heating, a reception area and a reference library that has computers with Internet access. One of the larger sized classrooms is a multipurpose room used for activities, movie projection and the end of course graduation ceremony. The classrooms glass doors open up to a terrace where students sometimes gather during the morning break time in pleasant weather. There is a cafeteria in the same building on street level and a small student residence on an upper floor.

This Spanish school was founded in 1995 and was the second of the E.I. Group to open in Spain. This is the location of E.I.’s Central Registration Center, where enrollments are processed for all 5 E.I. locations. There is a maximum of 10 students in each class. Student Population during winter totals 25-40 students, during summer it totals 75-100 students at the same time. Students can learn to speak Spanish in an environment where they can learn quickly and efficiently.

There are a variety of Spanish language and culture courses offered at this center. The course program offers a wide range of levels and types of courses such as  Intensive, Super-Intensive, Summer course combined with activities and excursions, longer duration courses and exam preparation courses.
