At Escuela Internacional we believe that suitable accommodations are as important as first class teaching and facilities when your objective is to learn Spanish abroad. That is why we visit and carefully select each of the host family’s we offer our students. E.I. Cuernavaca and E.I. Playa del Carmen can arrange your accommodation with a Mexican host family or in a hotel of your choice located close to the schools.

Host Family Accommodations

Immerse yourself in the Spanish language and culture by living with one of Escuela Internacional’s carefully select host families. These families are chosen carefully and monitored through regular inspections and student feedback.

The benefits of immersion in a selected host family

Living with a host family is one of the best ways to learn in depth about the country that you are visiting, and its culture and people. This option also allows you to listen to and learn the Spanish language spoken in its most natural form. Daily contact with your host family will quickly enhance your understanding of local customs and culture. In no time at all you will be picking up common idiomatic phrases and expressions. In addition, you can enjoy a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with the independence of having your own key. All of E.I.’s families are centrally located close to the E.I. Center.

What is included in the price of the host family option?

In Cuernavaca:

• Single or Double Room
• Full board (3 meals a day) or breakfast only
• Bed linens and towels

In Playa del Carmen:

• Single Room
• Half board (2 meals a day) or breakfast only
• Bed linens. Students must bring their own towels.

Student Apartment Accommodations - E.I. Playa del Carmen

If you would prefer to live in an apartment with other international students while you learn Spanish abroad, E.I. Playa del Carmen offers furnished student apartments.

The benefits of choosing a student apartment

Sharing an apartment means that you will live other international students and have the chance to also learn about their countries and cultures. In choosing this option you can make new, international friends that could last a lifetime!

Apartments are within walking distance to the school and have a living room, TV, a large kitchen and most have a private bathroom per bedroom. These apartments are self catering, are cleaned once a week and bed linens are provided. Students must bring their own towels. All rooms are double rooms, but can be rented as single rooms as well.

What is included in the price of a Student Apartment?

• In Playa del Carmen: Single  or Double Room in a shared apartment.
• Shared use of kitchen and common areas
• Bed linens

Hotels

If you would prefer to stay in a hotel while you learn Spanish abroad, Escuela Internacional can reserve a room for you. If you should select this housing option, we advise you to make reservations through us at least one month in advance year round, especially during the summer/vacation season.
