Accommodations in Costa RicaAt Escuela Internacional we believe that suitable accommodations are as important as first class teaching and facilities when your objective is to learn Spanish abroad. That is why we visit and carefully select each of the accommodations we offer our students. E.I. Costa Rica arranges your preferred accommodation either with a Costa Rican host family or in a shared student apartment with equal care. Whichever option you choose each will offer you a unique experience and are the perfect compliment to your Spanish language course. Host Family AccommodationsImmerse yourself in the Spanish language and culture by having E.I. arrange your accommodations with a Costa Rican host family. Many students who study abroad in Costa Rica choose to stay with one of our select host families. These families are chosen carefully and monitored through regular inspections and student feedback. Benefits of immersion in a selected host familyLiving with a host family is one of the best ways to learn in depth about the country that you are visiting, its culture and people, and also allows you to listen to and learn the Spanish language spoken in its most natural form. Daily contact with your host family will quickly enhance your understanding of local customs and culture. In no time at all you will be picking up common idiomatic phrases and expressions. In addition, you can enjoy a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with the independence of having your own key. E.I. Costa Rica’s host families live either within walking distance of the Center or just a few minutes away by bus. For more information about what living with a host family is like, click here.
